SWIMMING POOL BUDĚJOVICKÁ

My design is located on Budějovická in Prague. This placement forces it to connect two different height levels while coexisting with the brutalist dominant-DBK. I’ve based the concept on hiding the building underground and lifting a green roof over the swimming pool, which allows the daylight in and creates an interaction with the higher level. The design also communicates with its surroundings by an outdoor swimming pool and the non-interrupted view from the lower passage to the swimming hall. The object offers a café for the public, swimming pool, kiddie pool, outdoor swimming pool, relax zone, sauna, steam, and massage rooms.
