Annotation

The workshop is not merely a place of craftsmanship, but it can be a place of self-realization, a place that can provide a fulfilling place in society. Work has had a lot of different forms and continues to develop and change based on the historical context. Whereas our ancestors, although very skilful, had to make do with primitive tools, contemporary work relies on more and more sophisticated instruments. Despite all of this, the strength of the old tools has not vanished. The key to my design is the ability to transform based on future needs. The proposed infill can be removed and replaced at will. The building thus remains relevant, even if the way we work changes drastically. It could become a data centre, hydroponic farm, or even something we can not even imagine.
