Annotation

The Forest Park in Ruprechtice is a place on the border of a big city and an open countryside. Its life-giving artery is a stream to which a large number of protected animals and plants are tied. The conceptual solution aims to improve the quality of the stream valley for local people with a philosophy of minimal interventions. The main means of expression of the concept is the motif of the stain, which is based on the form of a local important animal, the salamander, and the local traditional material, the granite. The system of signage and places tells the story of the stream from the source to the estuary, which revives issues related to nature protection and offers quiet places to rest near running water.
