Náměstí Republiky

The proposed building is located in the square called náměstí Republiky close to the historic centre of Kolín. An important step in the design was the relocation of the traffic route leading along the northeast side of the area to the southwest, which created a quiet place with a link to the town preserve in the northeastern side of the square. With its floor plan, the new house shows that it directly forms the shape and size of the newly created square and at the same time forms a spatial dominant. The building has three floors above ground and two underground floors. The main contents of the building are the offices, which can be found on the second and third floor. The ground floor is surrounded by an arcade, from which the entrances to the active ground floor and offices lead.
