Most people perceive prefabricated housing estates as concrete neighbourhoods, a place associated with negative feelings and neglected greenery. In Stodůlky, the opposite is true. The urbanistically well-designed housing estate offers residents plenty of car-free space in so-called superblocks. The drawback is that these places are not used to their full potential. With urban gardens, rentable flower beds and new seating, we will get people back into the superblocks, and we will also give residents the opportunity to participate in the creation of public space around their homes and to connect with their neighbours or family.
