Pragovka Art Centrum

Nature x culture. Natural x made by human. Contrasts, that find balance. By sinking into the terrain, Pragovka Art Centrum fits into its surroundings, merges with it and becomes "inconspicuous". It is environmentally friendly, uses intelligent systems, renewable resources and local materials. It provides to the inhabitants of Pragovka cultural activities in the form of a gallery, library, café and in the summer days it also offers the possibility of outdoor events on the adjacent square with an amphitheater. The project returns nature to the city and reduces the heat island by using greenery in the public space of the jointly designed Artwalk and by using a green walking roof.
