Vision for Pilsen - Structure of agricultural land

Michal Bartek

Annotation

The structure of agricultural land and its importance is very current and an often underestimated topic. Impacting diversity, changes in the water regime in the area, water and wind erosion are closely related to land parcelling and land use. The vital, natural component and its torsos in the form of individuals represented by solitary trees, lines in the form of draws and borders and, last but not least, groups in the form of shrubs grouped in areas, play a crucial role. The intensification of agriculture has led to an increase in crop yields, but also to the compaction of agricultural land due to heavy machinery. A comprehensive view of the landscape is the solution for the future and the return of man's relationship to the landscape. Conceptual change in thinking is the only way!
