Yacht club

The concept of the yacht club building is located on the Podolské nábřeží and is based on the axes provided by the terrain and the adjacent building of the Faculty of Science of Charles University. The central axis on this plot has a dominant character and was highlighted in the design by the location of the main steps, which can be easily reached directly to the river. From the north side of the building are designed wooden stairs to sit offering a beautiful view. The building has two floors. The upper floor is divided into an accommodation part and a main part for the yacht club itself, which houses two smaller conference halls, a lecture hall, a club room and a restaurant. The lower floor contains areas for parking the ship, warehouses for rent and technical facilities.
