BETWEEN CITY AND NATURE

Maksim Spiridonov

Annotation

The designed object is a residential house in a small Czech town of Velké Meziříčí in a brownfield called Svít. The latter area is not quite full with houses, which provides with a unique opportunity to design a modern building for the people of the town. The building is designed to have four stories. The ground floor serves the purpose of a place for social interactions, as the building itself is situated exactly on the crossroads from the main square and other buildings in the area. The upper floors have apartments, the number of which gets smaller as we go upwards. Each apartment has quite big windows, which are designed to provide enough lightning for people in their rooms in order for them to feel more comfortable.
