Residential building in Bělehradská Street in Prague

The subject of the assignment was to design an apartment building with a commercial ground floor in a gap in Bělehradská Street in Prague. On the sloping site, there is a ground floor supermarket building. In my design I foresee its demolition and replacement with a new building. The house is divided into two different masses on the upper floors with distinctly different facades. In the southern part of the house with a facade of exposed concrete, five flats on each floor are proposed, in the northern part with a brick shell, four on each floor. The two buildings are connected by a garage in the first basement. On the second basement floor there are cellars for the residents and technical rooms. The entrance is located on the ground floor and divides the commercial area into two units.
