Yacht club

The aim of the assignment is to develop a design for a yacht club on the Podolské nábřeží next to the historic Loděnice building of the Faculty of Science of Charles University. The proposed building is intended as a port with a warehouse and workshop in the basement of the building, which is partially hidden in the terrain from the entrance side and facing the river with a nice view of Vyšehrad. The ground floor provides accommodation. It is accessible from the south side of the building, connects to the newly designed above-ground car park and is connected to the workshop atrium for creating visual communication between people. The restaurant building is connected to the basic building via a glass footbridge.
