apartment house Preslova street

In the 18th century Smíchov was rich and separate city with houses for aristocrats. Then in the 19th century it was industrial part of Prague and nowadays Smíchov is one of main districts in the center of Prague with both industrial and baroque houses. I tried to connect devided block of houses and the Project reacts to it. The house is devided into several parts which go along the street and they also kind of symbolizes block of houses. On the southern part there are gables which were created thanks to division of the house and they kind of quote the 19th century houses on Smíchov but on the western part project strictly relates to Pragers bank and block of flats. There are student´s apartments, apartments for families, seniors or singles. Connection, concoction, Smíchov.
