BÍLINA 2.0

Lucie Semeráková

Annotation

Bílina. A town in northern Bohemia between Teplice and Most. A mining town that will not soon be a mining town. Mining in the Bílina mine will end, a hole in the ground will be flooded with water from the surrounding rivers and streams, and Lake Bílina will be created. A change that will make the city perceived and remembered differently. Bílina is a beautiful city that has met an unfortunate fate associated with coal mining. Salvation for the state, destruction for nature. The project for Bílina 2.0 helps to consolidate and unify the city in the distribution of the population. It offers local and immigrant residents a quality place to live and work. The draft arises from the concept of connecting the historic buildings of the city with the dismantled buildings in the south and southeast.
