The House To Heaven

In Professor Fránek's studio we were working on a proposal for the use of a brownfield in the immediate vicinity of a monumental Baroque church in Přeštice. The proposal was to bring the representatives of the village a new perspective on the dilapidated and unused part of Přeštice. In my design, I worked with the considerably subdued significance of the pilgrimage site of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and tried to restore its charge. For this purpose, I supplement the temple with a comprehensive composition, thanks to which I create an intimate microworld. I suggest a place of meeting, gathering, listening, singing and silence, a place of prayer. The proposed composition, with its shape and especially the treatment of the roof, offers a story.
