The Aspern district is a newly built part of northeast Vienna. There is Lake Aspern in the midle, which makes the locality a beautiful place to relax.
In our studio, we tried to design buildings that underline this aspect. We worked in blocks F10-13.
You will find my project in block F12, furthest from the lake, at the meet of the roundabout and the street leading directly from the lake. Both streets are expected to be quite busy, which means that I had to create two different atmospheres in my area. To provide suitable services to regular visitors of Aspern and also a quiet environment for the inhabitants of the house I created an apartment building with a small theater on the ground floor and an elevation on the other side to provide quiet access to the house's inhabitants.
