Aula Magna for Charles University

The designed building consists of two parts. The dominant front part facing the Old Town Square contains the hall itself and the vestibule. In the rear block volume behind the main mass there is a café, a smaller hall, vertical communications and service functions. After entering the square, the visitor finds himself in a spacious elevated vestibule, which occupies the entire space under the rising auditorium of the hall. There is a cloakroom between the passages to the hall. From the lobby there is an entry the area with stairs and elevators and then walk to the cafe, which is oriented to a small area behind the building. Above the cafe is a smaller multi-purpose hall.
