In this work we dealt with the embankment of the river Opava. Its connection with the city and the creation of an interface between the modern northern part of the city and a relatively compact historic core. The main points were the definition of the pedestrian promenade and the route of the cycle path of higher importance and their connection to the current street network. Improving the permeability of the city by designing six new footbridges. Improving flood protection. Above all, it shows the potential of the waterfront.
