Monument of the Unknowns

The place of design is the space next to the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Přeštice, where there is currently a disparate development from the course of the 20th century and a Baroque stable. Given the importance of this place between the church and the cemetery and the connection of Přeštice to the liberation in May 1945, it was decided to create a design for the monument and museum. The form of the building is formed by topographic architecture, where in this case the individual points on the map represent the places of fallen American soldiers. From these points, a custom object is created monument and museum, which also considers the existing Baroque stables as an artifact and a silent witness to these events.
