TRADITIONAL BLUEPRINT - VEST

The Danzinger family has been involved in blueprinting for 300 years. Today, the only competitors in this field in our country are production in Strážnice. Both family workshops follow the production procedures precisely and participate to maintain the folklore traditions of their regions. The design respected the mentioned production methods, but at the same time created space for experiment. In combination with Czech tradition and Japanese simplicity, I designed a refined vest that meets both functional and aesthetic requirements. The use of blueprinting and timeless sewing pattern work together unusually and vividly, bringing together the traditions to the present.
