REDHEAD

Today's Zítek orchards form a visible gap in the surrounding waterfront line around Palackého náměstí. Redhead aesthetically fills this gap in the development and at the same time redefines Zítek's orchards as such. The apartment building consists of five blocks, which clearly delimit the newly created park. The whole set is connected by a glass bridge, which also serves as a semi-private space. Apart from the characteristic elements, the Redhead is clad in cortes. Over time, the rusted steel here properly preserves the genius loci and adds a certain modernity to the place. These five clearly defined masses form a kind of wall around a rugged park. It consists of several circular green and water areas. The project creates a refuge not only for its inhabitants, but also for the public.
