Blok 4/1 - office building

Block 4/1 forms a part of a multifunctional urban block designed in the Pentagon development site in Prague's Palmovka district on a plot of land which is currently occupied by the Kaufland supermarket. The entire block 4 contains retail space including a new form of the supermarket, office space and apartments, all with shared underground parking space. The entire block is visually unified by a grid of exposed concrete. The part called Block4/1, which was my assignment, contains office and retail space. There is a direct access to a common green courtyard on the roof of the supermarket from the third floor. The last floor offers a common terrace where tennant of the offices have the opportunity to realax and stay in the shade of a pergola.
