Primary school Horoměřice

Horomerice is a small village on the outskirts of Prague. As housing in different areas is more preferred for new people, they need to expand capacity in social services and schools have not avoided it. The new primary school for 500 pupils should complement the primary school directly in the municipality, which currently operates there. The X-shaped elementary school design creates a monumetal feel as it stands on a hill. Each of the four wings has its own function, with one wing of the first degree and the other of the second, which helps to separate the two generations. The center of the whole building is a large staircase, which is illuminated from above by a skylight. Despite the large plot of land, which ensures the safe movement of children, the school also has a walkable roof.
