VIA PRINCIPALIS

The proposal treats the northern diameter as "Via Principalis", where the current situation does not correspond to the importance of this axis. The areas addressed include Hradčanská, Letná, Veletržní Street and the area of the new Bubny. In the proposal, I focus on the overall context of the area with respect to the rest of Prague, as well as addressing individual locations. Specifically, I focus on the material solutions for the new square on Hradčanská, the Letná ring road and the new Veletržní Street. Within the whole territory I then comment on functional, transportive and compositional principles, and I also determine the areas of accumulation of people, shaping the public spaces of the given locations. The individual areas are described below.
