Living in Karlín (ZS 2019/2020, but it only works with 2020/21)

Concept is based on collision and dynamics. Karlín is a part of Prague, where home and work meet, old and the newest architecture meets etc. It's not competitive collision, more like duality, coexistence. And so, collision and dynamics became the pillars for the face of facade and shape of the building. 2 masses collide into one shape, while maintaining their original materials - fibercement on South and wood on North. Dynamics of the street gave the idea for moving fibercement facade on the street side. The design is located in the gap in street line in Karlín, street Křižíkova. It fills the part of the line that has been broken for a long time and with my design, I'm trying to support dynamics and diversity of the whole street.
