REDISCOVERY CONNECTIONS

The main purpose of the project is to revitalize the cemetery chapel and complete its place with modern forms of burial and their inclusion in the cemetery complex. The chapel is reconnected to the E – W compositional axis through communication and rest areas and spaces. The dominant element of the design is the ash field, which consists of its own grassy area and a semi – transparent brick wall, creating the dignified and intimate character of the space. Additional design elements are columbariums, gathering and meditation areas, levitating ceremonial objels, or vegetation areas.
