The purpose of the manual is to contribute to the discussion of conceptual thinking about public spaces. In the theoretical part we will learn general information about street profiles and their appropriate use, as well as the elements of public spaces, which not only complement, but often define the character of public space. In the second part these starting points will be applied to specific streets. However, the drawings found here are not processed in the details of the public space study, it is only a matter of applying principles based on the theoretical part. For this reason, the manual cannot be understood as the proposed design for specific streets, but is serves as the summary of applicable information used for use on almost any processed and unprocessed street in Nymburk.
