Giraffes pavilion in ZOO Pilsen

The concept of the giraffe pavilion was to create an environment that will provide visitors a view into animals life and create a pleasant and safe home for its inhabitants. During the designing each building, we were inspired by giraffe fur, especially their stains. We used their shape for floor plans and for some details of the buildings. Another interesting element is the footbridge, which is surrounded by trees and accompanies the visitors through the entire territory of the new part of the zoo. It allows the transition between the individual pavilions and the restaurant. At the same time it provides an opportunity to observe animals in the animal enclosure from a different perspective.
