Exhibition of Studio Projects

Exhibition pavilion for the Slav epic

Palina Charlionak

Annotation

The Czech nation inherited from Alfons Mucha twenty canvases of the painter's work-the Slavic epic. For the placement of twenty paintings of fairly decent dimensions, a location was chosen on Mala Strana in the place where nature and architecture meet face to face, in the place where Petrin begins ( as the author once thought to place)- on újezd. Externally, the building by its shape fits well with the rhythm and character of a Mala Strana, and inside it is multifunctional. The first floor brings another breath to the place, combining the cultural life of Prague in the form of a hall for the art of the young age, and everyday life in the form of various shopping places. The second floor is fully devoted to the main activity of the whole life of the famous artist.
