Chaple of St. Stapin

Anna Hejduková

Annotation

Baroque chapel of St. Stapina was built in 1724 above a healing spring near the Klokočka park near Bakov nad Jizerou. The design mainly focuses on the exterior and the part at the source. The main change is the replacement of the existing color of the plaster to beige shades, according to historical photographs, the replacement of the existing roofing and gutters with titanium-zinc. The existing landscaping will be replaced by a threshing floor in connection with the driveway, stones on the slope, boulders around the chapel in the back, new stone paving on the terrace and at the spring. The existing concrete parts (upper part of the walls, stairs) will also be replaced by stone elements. Another part of the project is also the addition of the missing statue in the facade of the chapel.
