As part of the assignment "Prague - Inner Landscapes", we in the Sedlák studio prepared a draft of the area along the lower reaches of the Berounka River, which stretches between the villages of Radotín, Černošice and Lipence. The leitmotif and supporting skeleton of the design was mainly the undulating Berounka and the areas of meadows and fields belonging to it. The potential of the area for recreational use is indicated by the apparent flow of (cycling) escapes from the busy metropolis behind the tranquility of the Prague suburbs. The imperative of the design was the triad water (life-giving) - greenery (all-encompassing) - fields (beneficial). The aim was to find a parallel to the urban environment with the help of natural building blocks in the true sense of the word.
