Flow Heals Students

The task was to create a functional student space, a place for meetings, work, relaxation, entertainment on the campus of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, located between Libeň and Troja in Prague 8. Once a quiet recreational area for Praguers, today it is an unresolved place with two faculties and dormitories trapped between the rock Jablonka, Vltava and the dominant noisy transport hub. The proposal addresses the two entrance halls and deals with the functionality of the areas, transport, road network, vegetation and the identity of the place that is missing there. All the designed elements intertwine to form a whole that heals the surroundings with its fluidity.
