Palackeho square. Theater and library

This project is a combined library and theater building on Palackého náměstí. From an urban point of view, the aim was to close the square. That would give it monumentality and completeness. Because the place where the building should state, is a square, it was necessary to emphasize the primacy of this space. Such a dominant was the central staircase that passes through the building and opens a passage to the park behind it. The central staircase also divided the first floor of the building into two separate ones parts.
