NURSING HOME - EMMAUS

The Emmaus Abbey owns an area closed by Vyšehradská, Trojická and Pod Slovany streets. There is a plot of land in this area, which is situated on a slope with a one-sided connection to a four-storey building. The task was to use this plot for the construction of a nursing home to match the location. The design respects the surroundings and tries to enter the development gently. It is a mass that has two cutouts. These removed parts were created to preserve the Renaissance wall and the view of the Emmaus Monastery and the church of St. Jan Nepomucký.
