SENIOR HOUSE - EMAUZY

Annotation

Emmaus Monastery, founded in 1347 is a Benedictine monastery, located in the New Town in Prague, in the area delimited by Trojická, Pod Slovany, Na Slovanech and Vyšehradská streets. The monastery is also adjacent to the Baroque gardens, which are currently undergoing renovation. The new building of the house with care for the elderly replaces the neo-Gothic building of the charity center Naděje, which is currently standing here, and thus follows the blind gable of the neighboring classicist house. Its mass then defines the end of the street profile of Vyšehradská Street towards the monastery building.
