Depo Písnice Metro D Stanice

The challenge was to design a new terminus and train depo for the proposed Metro D extension, that will run through southwest Prague, ending in Písnice. Based on comprehensive analysis of the area and an understanding of the issues such development would create, I sought to integrate a variety of design solutions on the site. I aimed to create a spatial concept that met the functional requirements of a metro depo and terminus, while also serving the surrounding businesses and residents, with a human-scaled and pedestrian focused node built around a central plaza.
