City and landscape interface

Suburbanization, the growth of the city into the countryside, is a relatively large topic in recent times. How should the city and the landscape coexist so that they function together as a whole? I will try to answer this question in my diploma thesis, for which this thesis is an analytical basis. The selected area is located in the northeast of Prague, where the compact city is gradually changing into an agricultural landscape around the Elbe river with smaller villages, and where more and more new inhabitants have recently moved.
