Blueway - river interventions

The working name «Blueway» is based on the typology of urban planner Tom Turner, who works roads and their delimitation. One of them is the "blueway", which works with the underappreciated significance of rivers and streams and their transformation. We want to create an element for the Elbe, that would give the Nymburk embankment character. There are a few simple docks and small wooden buildings: a smaller concert hall with a view of the bay, residential stairs in the place of Hrabal's sitting, a new two-level pier for the rowing club. Another way of communication with the river is the new river spa, for which we design an outdoor pool. Also we are designing a parking house with a vegetation walkable roof and a pleasant residential park near transformed sport complex.
