The concept of representative public spaces aims at a new composition of the main square Jiřího z Poděbrad and creates a new character of the space. The entire area is paved with historicizing granite blocks and traffic is slowed down due to more frequent pedestrian movement. The area is complemented by a triad of trees that emphasise the importance of the nearby building or institution. The proposal also deals with the improvement of road surfaces and the area around the Chateau, Opletalova Street, the front of St. Morice Church and the COOP store.
