Prague Zoo, restaurant Obora

The newly designed composition of objects in Obora, part of Prague Zoo located on top of a steep slope, is formed by a building with commercial and residential function, an observation tower and a membrane canopy. The tensile structure, along with the other volumes, forms unique spatial structures, enabling visitors to observe it from various points of view within the site. The new exterior orangutan enclosure, connected to the old one via a tunnel, is constructed as an aviary, using a lightweight tensile structure. Visitors have an opportunity to peek inside and watch the animals from close proximity.
