The tourist base X - 7

The project is located 1380 metres above sea level near the village of Horní Mísečky on the ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains between Kotel and Medvědín. The tourist base is located under the former Jestřábí boudy and its main facade is oriented to the southwest. The first of the two floors of the proposed building serves as a technical background and as permanent housing for the manager, the second as 17 separate accommodation units with their own bathrooms and shared kitchen. The setting of the whole building follows the contours and relates to the surrounding terrain, allowing the roof to be used as a viewpoint over the open valley and the Buková hillside opposite. The main structure is a reinforced concrete frame with a timber facade combined with steel and local stone cladding.
