Fashion center

Annotation

The fashion center is located on the north-eastern part of the Holešovice embankment. The center is intended for fashion shows and exhibitions or performances related to fashion and art. It also serves as an all-day cafe and gallery. In my design, I was inspired by the concept of the "spinning toy" and the pattern of the skirt. The facade is based on the principe of lacing the corset. At the same time, I was inspired by brutalist buildings and designs of organic performing arts centers. The fashion center is based in a flood zone, that's why I chose the overall height difference compared to the embankment. At the waterfront level, I design an outdoor scene. There is a cafe with a gallery on the 1st floor. The main hall with a catwalk is located in the 2st floor.
