Hlásný trouby - living on Vrbatovo návrší

Hlásný trouby is a set of buildings for housing, emergency overnight accommodation and catering on Vrbatovo návrší. It is a quiet place on one of the Krkonoše ridges with a wonderful view of the valley. The open landscape seems idyllic, but the weather conditions can be really cruel in this place. The concept of mass is derived from the view of the valley. The buildings are closed and narrow towards the north, on the contrary, they open and expand towards the south towards the valley. Like a megaphone, it screams downward into the open landscape. The main idea is minimal intervention in the protected landscape. As a result, the location of the wooden buildings on the extended terrace is connected to the terrain only by point foundations of the steel structure.
