In the centre of Mnichovo Hradiště stands a parcel of the former market hall. The proposal comes up with a comprehensive use of this lucrative place and opens up the square for a new multifunctional public space. The concept of the main building is to divide it into two masses connected by a hall. The building has a ground floor with shops, a café and a reception. The two upper floors are used for temporary accommodation. The mass of the building is undercut at the back. The café facilities head towards the courtyard and transition into the market. The marketplace consists of identical stores of modular size, which can be adjusted according to the needs of the ratailers. There is a former barn at the back of the parcel, which will be used as a community centre for a variety of events.
