Spiral

The exhibition area of Hall No. 4 is located in the area of the transforming Prague Market. The design is represented by a built-in steel structure around the perimeter of the hall. The layout of the structure is based on the principle of duality, which is also reflected in the historic interior in the symmetry and permeability of the hall from two sides. In the design, this principle manifests itself in the form of a double spiral. The shape of the arch copies the historical openings and highlights them. Industrial pallets are inserted into the space in the center, as a reference to the imaginary past of the area. Movable pallets and the structure itself allow for a variety of events: an exhibition, a fashion show, performance performances, videomapping.
