				ON THE SLOPES OF MORDGRUNDBACH
Annotation
The area around Mordgrundbach was a popular leisure destination in the past, but this is no longer the case. The lower part closer to the Elbe is difficult to access and overgrown, and the upper part of the stream is unmaintained and not visited by many people.
I wanted to take advantage of the area’s rich history and it’s many interesting sites and restore its popularity by creating a new trail that would run through the area. I connected the upper and lower areas by an underpass under the bridge that had previously been a barricade and was impossible to pass through. I took advantage of the steep terrain so that the trail has several branches with more action-packed elements on the slope, such as climbing a rope, climbing a ladder, crossing over logs, or going down a slide.
