Townhouses Old town Prague

Tereza Baselová

Annotation

The concept is town row houses, with a goal to react to the more subtle surroundings in the proximity of the Convent of St. Agnes and the Hospital Na Františku. To the south, the complex of houses more or less strictly follows the street line, while to the north, it loses its strict shape a little and creates the transition between open space to the river and constrained streets of the Old Town. Six modules are 4 meters in width and five are 5,4 meters in width, while all houses consist of six floors. There is an area for commercial use on the ground floor, along with assigned toilets, and above it, the houses themselves.
