Maisonette Living

The project Maisonette Living is a response to an assigment to create an apartment house in Nové Dvory, where an urbanistic study was created for the occasion of the origin of a metro D station. The parcel is located in the middle of a three-building residential block. The goal was for the inhabitants to be able to enjoy the perks of both interior and exterior. The building is divided into six long modules, in disposition and also on the fasade. It consists of an active parter with two commercial areas (a plant shop and a clothing store) and two three-storey blocks which consist of maisonette L-shaped flats which are accesible form a halway in the storey in the middle. All the flats are able to access both facades - the eastern and the western one. On each storey there is a studio flat.
