House in Bhután

The origins of Bhutanese arts and crafts date back to the 15th century, and they still have a strong presence there today. In my project, I decided to support this important source of community vitality not only to preserve Bhutan's precious heritage, but also to increase economic benefits for their rural communities. In the project, I tried to use the skills of local residents as much as possible and thus use local resources, whether material or labor. Bhutanese craft skills are well developed throughout the country.
