Conservation of a partial part of the torso of the Zvířetice castle

The project deals with the conservation of a partial part of the Zvířetice castle. The entire design is based on the principle of a conservative approach to the monument. Both designs (both conservation and reconstruction) put strict emphasis on preserving the torsional character of the object, the interventions do not disturb the silhouette and appearance of the monument and are subordinated to the authenticity of the preserved state as much as possible. Repairs, stabilization, conservation or reconstruction of partial elements are supported by found situations or historical sources. The goal is to stabilize and preserve the monument in the condition it was found, while preserving its informative value, while respecting the perceived image of the torso.
