INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITY

On an empty lot called Námestie 5. Května in Černošice, we created sheltered housing for families with a member who has a mental or combined physical and mental disability. From an urban planning point of view, the parterre is divided into 3 parts that intersect with each other. Residential units, day care - intended especially for families with a person with mental, physical or multiple disabilities, with autistic spectrum disorder - and a park. In addition to household residents, other people who require conditions appropriate to this place can attend the day care. The park is intended for normal use of the narrow surroundings. Proper independent housing for disabled people means, in my understanding, adapting the household to their individual needs, with an emphasis on community.
